Those @southcaverecords cassettes getting some wood working love! Thank You @widdershins_guitars ・・・ Delivery of some excellent doom cassettes for the shop. @sundrifterbc @vinnumsabbathiband @weedruid Anyone else still love cassettes? I’ve been woodworking since I was literally 4 years old and was lucky enough to live in a house with a giant workshop in the back, because the original owner of the house was a house builder for the area. We always had a cassette player in there and while I learned to woodwork I also discovered my parents old tapes. I remember Led Zeppelin (that full discography collection spread over 4 tapes), Pink Floyd, The Doors, New Order, Deep Purple, CCR, and early Elton John the most. So music and woodworking were always melded together for me. I was a late comer to understanding doom as a genre, liking bands within it for many years, but not really knowing there was a genre linking them (always been bad with genres) Anyways, since I’ve had a cassette player alongside my turntable for many years, was really excited to see that metal, stoner rock and doom in particular had a strong current cassette culture with it. Discovering new bands and getting something physical rather than digital is the best. . . . #luthiery #handmade #workbench #doommetal #doom #stonerrock #metal #woodworking #guitarsofcanada #fuzz #guitarsofcanada #madeintoronto #wood #luthier #guitars #guitar #widdershins #stanley #vintagetools #widdershinsguitars #luthierie #cassettes
